Fresh Greens

This is a classic recipe from the South, however what a great recipe it is. Fresh greens taste so much better than canned, and are so simple to make. If you want to get your kids eating greens, this is the recipe to convert them on.
  1. NOTE ABOUT VINEGAR - You can use white or anykind. I prefer Malted or Balsamic.
  2. Place bacon and onion and salt in deep pot. Cook till onion and bacon are brown.
  3. Place green in pot, stir well, add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Stir well and cover and simmer for one hour stirring about every 15 minutes.
